Episode 8.
Hyun Jae consoles Simeon and assures him that he’s always confident in how he does things and still feels the same. Simeon is still upset over Choi Jun’s treatment of him and unsatisfied with the outcome of his photoshoot. They restart the shot, and it ultimately goes well. Hyun Jae told Choi Jun that he could make his debut anytime he wanted because the photo turned out great. When asked to make a second commercial by his junior, he declines, stating that Lee Jun should be consulted first because it was his idea. Following the successful shoot, Lee Jun received praise from his coworkers. Choi Jun hosted their dinner as a thank-you and as a send-off for the interns.
Over the dinner, interns expressed gratitude to their seniors for being good coworkers. Lee Jun talked to Hyun Jae outside the restaurant, and he thanked him for helping him a lot, and the latter said he did great because of his ability. Hyun Jae became serious and told him that what he wanted was for him to have a good person by his side. Lee Jun told him that he wanted him to know how precious he is to him, and he says being a manager makes him feel like a parent to him. They laugh together as they both realize that Lee Jun is like a son to them. He thanked him again and promised to do better in the future before they went back inside the restaurant.
Choi Jun was invited to Lee Jun’s home by him following their meal. They shared a passionate kiss as soon as they got inside his home and had an intimate moment that night. The following day, Lee Jun gets a message informing him that he has been hired on a full-time basis. Simeon’s advertisement worked out nicely, and the business made lots of money off of it. The two were having a date in the park that evening when Kim Young suddenly appeared and presented Lee Jun with a gift of congratulations. She expresses disappointment that she wasn’t invited to the party, but they explained that it wasn’t for him and was instead a celebration of the project’s success. Choi Jun is made fun of by Young because he lacks a gift for him.
Because of that, Young teased Lee Jun that he should choose her over Choi Jun. She says they have a lot in common, and she’s rich. And as she continues, Choi Jun grabs him and kisses him in front of her. Young gets shocked and says that they should enjoy her gift before she walks away. Lee Jun thanked him and promised to use it generously. Still upset, Simeon saw that the advertisement was successful, so he called Hyun Jae and told him that he was disappointed because it looked like he played a supporting role, and he was depressed because it was like he’s letting everyone know that he got dumped. To console him, Hyun Jae invited him to his place for a drink. Simeon was surprised at first but agreed afterward.
Simeon was surprised when he saw Hyun Jae waiting outside a restaurant. He thought that they would drink at his house, but the latter says it’s his favorite spot, so he wanted to go there. But Simeon told him that though he prefers wine over soju, he always agreed to go there because he liked that place. Hyun Jae invited him to have a second round of drinking at his place, and he showed him that he already had his favorite wine. Simeon was surprised, and the latter told him that five years was enough to develop similar tastes. Hyun Jae told him to pay at the restaurant, and that they should celebrate because they both got dumped.
