The story revolves around Himari, a high school freshman who, after witnessing a band performance on the first day of school, expresses admiration for the vocalist Yori’s voice. However, Yori misinterprets her words, thinking it’s a confession of love. The opening song, “Humming Love,” is performed by Kana Sakura, who provides the singing voice of Asanagi Yori, the vocalist and guitarist of the band “SSGIRLS” in the anime. The song portrays a love that started with a meeting on a rooftop and expresses a longing for a gentle melody to melt away any hesitation, with the desire to be the sole recipient of that soothing voice, akin to the rain.
