Back in the bar, Hibiki is crying again. His excuse is that there’s too much pollen but his coworkers reply that it’s winter, not believing his crap. Hokuto tells Haku, the manager, that a customer wants to talk to him on the phone so he says sorry and leaves. Buchi, quietly asks Hibiki if he is indeed Hibiki and asks him if Haku is okay, showing great concern. Hibiki tells him where this concern is coming from. Buchi only says that Haku has always been naive and that he was worried he would get stuck with bed bugs when he left. Hibiki in his head is excited because he thinks Buchi is jealous so he continues their conversation and tells him that Haku is indeed a unique man and because of that he has gotten many fans. Buchi is baffled by his reply. But Hibiki thinks that this is a confirmation of his jealousy and tells him that the staff will take good care of the precious Haku.
But just as his dreams are about to come true, he notices a silver band on Buchi’s finger, unbelieving that it’s a wedding band. He excuses himself from the main bar and goes to the back room only to freak out and scream that getting involved with married people is not good which startles them all. He comes back calm and collected again as if nothing happened. He is heartbroken to find out that what he thought was his destined pair was otherwise. Nevertheless, he is determined and vows to find them for he knows he eventually will.
It’s a new night at the bar and Chita is praised by Hibiki for his attentive glass cleaning, telling him that he is getting the hang of it. However, Hokuto notes that he is still stiff with dealing with customers to which Hibiki says that making conversation is also a skill that needs practicing. Hibiki gives him a tip mentioning that one must be able to identify people who want to have a conversation and who want to be left alone. Haku adds that this might be a bit difficult for him as a beginner and reassures him that he can take his time learning little by little. Chita says he will do his best.
They officially open and Hibiki is thinking of Chita’s progress in their work but for him, he’s disappointed in himself because he hasn’t found a prince charming riding a white horse for his cute colleague but again, he vows that he will find one soon. And before the thought leaves his head, a beautiful tall man walks in. Illuminated by the light, his brown hair shines brightly. His name is Iwai and he is a regular customer. Iwai’s eyes immediately land on the bar’s fresh face. Mr Haku introduces him to Chita. In the corner of the room, we see Hibiki and the cogs of his mind racing again. In his imagination, Chita and Iwai are in a fairytale and Iwai is a handsome prince coming to save Chita from impoverishment. Back in reality, Hibiki loves this new idea in his mind and reacts like a maniac again.
Mr. Haku tells Chita to practice his conversational skills with the current customer and Chita does. However, he is still so awkward, telling Mr. Iwai excitedly that he polished the glass that he is drinking from. Iwai as charming as his looks, replies that the perfectly polished glass accentuated the drink making it better than usual. Chita is so happy to hear this and giggles. Hibiki is gleeful about his new couple discovery.
A new beautiful specimen, named Taketsu, comes into the bar and recognizes Iwai. Iwai greets him, revealing that they are friends who haven’t seen each other in a while. He asks when he comes back to the area. Taketsu replies that he arrived last week and Iwai says he should’ve sent a message. Hibiki notes the development of his plot line. There is indeed a man from Iwai’s past who has come to the picture. He becomes more excited thinking that this would enrich his storyline. Iwai asks if he can move over to sit closer to his friend. Hibiki is already thinking about Chita and is inwardly reprimanding Iwai for leaving him alone to talk to Taketsu. Taketsu orders a Bloody Mary, interrupting Hibiki’s inner struggle.
Hibiki’s thoughts are steaming hot with the scenario in which fictional Iwai and Taketsu are in. The two are devouring each other on top of the bar to Hibiki’s ecstasy. In real life, he gets a seizure that doesn’t seem to bother his coworkers anymore. Iwai and Taketsu mention that they used to hang out alone when both of them weren’t in relationships. They enjoy drinking at home and just lounging. Chita agrees to such activity and Hibiki quietly encourages him to join in their conversation. Taketsu added that they went to a hot spring once and got drunk. Taketsu teases Iwai, holding his chin, and asking him if he still has the habit of kissing everyone when he’s drunk. Iwai just laughs and tells him to shut up but he teases back and replies that he left so many hickies on Taketsu. Hibiki on the side drowns himself in water in pleasure of the situation.
Taketsu asks Iwai if he still lives nearby. Iwai replies and the two decide to have a drink at home. Iwai teases him to not pull any weird moves but Taketsu only mentions that Iwai is the one leaving hickeys on people. Hibiki feels sad for Chita but also ecstatic with the new “couple” in front of him.
At the sidelines, Chita asks his coworkers if they notice that Hibiki is acting weird with all his reactions. It is revealed that Hokuto and Haku know that Hibiki is indeed far from normal and reply that he has always been that eccentric.
The end of the episode flashes back to the two women who are chatting with Hibiki in the beginning. They mention how mysterious he is and ask if there is a woman in his life. He replies that he is none and he is just an ordinary male adult, smiling secretively. One of the women asks him if he wants to go on a date with her to which he replies that he doesn’t have the time. The woman says that even when rejecting people, he is so smooth. But Hibiki says that he is indeed lacking in time, wishing he had 48 hours a day and 10 days a week. Both of the women squeal in happiness over his charming remark but little did they know that Hibiki wants that extra time to watch anime and work on his BL mangas all day long.
The door opens to an unseen customer coming in and Hibiki watches, exclaiming welcome. Upon seeing the attractiveness of the new customer, he is seen with a smile on his face filled with ecstasy and pleasure that one can only see in real committed Fudanshis.
