Episode 2: Reuniting with Lost Love.

The flashback continues. After Ritsu and Masumi had sex, Masumi wondered if Ritsu had sex with men before. Without hesitation, Ritsu admits he did it and confesses he is, in fact, bisexual. Masumi also revealed it’s not his first time, and ain’t bother to spend with who it was because he’s desperate to try it.

At the restaurant, Yosuke asks Masumi if he’s in love, which he denies. Masumi could not hide the truth from Yosuke and kept pestering him. In the school hallway, Masumi saw Ritsu with a girl and asked him out. While they were talking, Ritsu noticed Masumi looking at him and called him. He turned down the girl’s invitation, saying that he has to do something with Masumi. But, of course, they spent the night together intimately. (Writer’s note: remember to watch this with your earphones!)

In the morning, Ritsu went to the kitchen to fetch a bottle of water. Masumi asked for a sip, but Ritsu shared the water through his mouth to Masumi’s mouth. Ritsu told Masumi that he did not expect them to be compatible, enjoyed hanging out, and had a blast with him. And continuously confessed he felt Masumi was special and said I love you to him. Their relationship begins…

Masumi is walking with Yosuke when he saw Ritsu hanging out with other another girl. Later that night, he asked him if he had gone to a hotel with a freshman. Ritsu just said sorry and it was his fault. He also revealed it is not the first time that it has happened. Matsumi was in disbelief but all the while, Ritsu thought he understood his playboy side. He loves Masumi, but he sleeps with others as well. If he can’t accept, they better split. After hearing Ritsu’s explanation, Masumi concluded that their relationship was a friend with benefits, and he asked him to leave. Heartbroken, Masumi starts bawling.

In the following days, Masumi saw Ritsu hanging out with girls on the campus. One night, Masumi starts stalking Ritsu, who is with a girl at the station. He starts following Ritsu, but he loses him. And then Ritsu shouts, asking him to stop what he’s doing. If not, Ritsu will reveal to their club members that Masumi is gay because he doesn’t intend to hide his sexuality. And the flashback ends. In the current year, Masumi meets the person he doesn’t want to see again, Ritsu, at the library.

Since this drama is under the same production as “Pornographer” and “Novelist”, it’s guaranteed that you won’t be missing any touch of any intimate scenes. It’s still a good surprise to see Seto’s bolder role than his previous BL, “Senpai, This Can’t Be Love”. Masumi and Ritsu’s relationship is toxic… and one can only wonder how it goes as the story progresses.

Episode 3. Heartbeat Brought On By a Demise.

Masumi and Ritsu went out from the library to the campus’ rooftop with a picturesque view of the sunset. Ritsu thinks that the wheel of destiny brings them back together to spend their last days together on Earth. Masumi rejected it and said it will never be happening and ask if he still remember what he’d done before. However, Ritsu replied that what happened in the past was his best memory. After hearing Ritsu’s response, Masumi was about to leave but Ritsu offered a drug that if he drinks, he will never feel the pain of dying. In exchange for helping him out, disposing of a corpse. Masumi thought it was a joke but Ritsu confirmed it was true. He gave the drug to anyone who wished to die in peace and now, in his condo. He asks him what drug he’s giving. It was a drug used for euthanasia in some foreign countries. He asks again but Ritsu said it’s a secret. At Ritsu’s condo, Masumi still can’t believe that Ritsu gave that drug to a young man on the sofa. Ritsu wonders as he noticed there’s trash on the table which the two feel strange. And later found out, Yuma, the young man is still alive which made the two surprised. Yuma welcomes Ritsu as con artist because he’s such a liar. The two even made a deal to drink the drug and die together. Masumi even agreed with him that Ritsu’s a bastard and is glad that he’s alive. He asked Yuma if he decided to suicide in the first place. A minute of silence happens as Yuma walks away.

Masumi and Yuma sat down on the couch where Yuma tells his story. He fell in love with a girl but when that time he confessed, the worst thing happened to him. The girl is from a scary group of upperclassmen that beat him, stole his money, and also coerced him to shoplift. But when his friends heard the rumor, they start ignoring him. From that time, Yuma started questioning his existence. A real tipping point hits him as his favorite idol committed suicide. From that incident, he decided to end his life as well. After hearing Yuma’s side, Masumi advises him to live his life to the fullest since he’s too young.

Inside the bedroom, Yuma bawls as he expressed he didn’t want to die and go home. He even called out to his mom, asking for advice on what should he do next. Ritsu gives him a cup of tea to calm him down and asked for his name. He even apologizes and promises to take him to his home. Masumi enters the room and the three watch the latest update on the huge meteorite which is expected to hit the Earth in nine days. Everyone losses hope as the electricity, plumbing, and internet services will not last. And even convenience stores have been looted.

Masumi and Ritsu head back to Masumi’s house to get the emergency ration. The house is full of their memories as Ritsu recalls Masumi’s neighborhood complaining about their noises while making out. Masumi is surprised that Ritsu remembered that happened. Ritsu asked Masumi if he still wants to do it again for the sake of their past relationship as the world is going to end in a few days anyway.

Masumi stands up and starts yelling at Ritsu, what happened to him before is such a traumatizing experience. For him, having sex means he trusts that person but Ritsu betrayed him and shattered his heart into pieces. After hearing Masumi’s rant, Ritsu rushes towards him and promised that he won’t fling with others and only with him. After that, the two went back to Ritsu’s condo where Yuma slept on the sofa and there was no electricity. They head to the bedroom where Masumi said don’t dare to touch him. But in the end, he allows Ritsu to hug him and recalls what happened earlier.
