‘The End Of The World With You’ began with the news that a giant meteorite would strike Earth in ten days and probably wipe off the entire human race, and the whole planet is plunged into turmoil.
Masumi’s decision to head to the library leads him to meet the person from his past he doesn’t want to meet ever again, and a flashback of their dangerous romance begins.

Episode 2: Reuniting with Lost Love.
The flashback continues. After Ritsu and Masumi had sex, Masumi wondered if Ritsu had sex with men before. Without hesitation, Ritsu admits he did it and confesses he is, in fact, bisexual. Masumi also revealed it’s not his first time, and ain’t bother to spend with who it was because he’s desperate to try it.
At the restaurant, Yosuke asks Masumi if he’s in love, which he denies. Masumi could not hide the truth from Yosuke and kept pestering him. In the school hallway, Masumi saw Ritsu with a girl and asked him out. While they were talking, Ritsu noticed Masumi looking at him and called him. He turned down the girl’s invitation, saying that he has to do something with Masumi. But, of course, they spent the night together intimately. (Writer’s note: remember to watch this with your earphones!)
In the morning, Ritsu went to the kitchen to fetch a bottle of water. Masumi asked for a sip, but Ritsu shared the water through his mouth to Masumi’s mouth. Ritsu told Masumi that he did not expect them to be compatible, enjoyed hanging out, and had a blast with him. And continuously confessed he felt Masumi was special and said I love you to him. Their relationship begins…
Masumi is walking with Yosuke when he saw Ritsu hanging out with other another girl. Later that night, he asked him if he had gone to a hotel with a freshman. Ritsu just said sorry and it was his fault. He also revealed it is not the first time that it has happened. Matsumi was in disbelief but all the while, Ritsu thought he understood his playboy side. He loves Masumi, but he sleeps with others as well. If he can’t accept, they better split. After hearing Ritsu’s explanation, Masumi concluded that their relationship was a friend with benefits, and he asked him to leave. Heartbroken, Masumi starts bawling.
In the following days, Masumi saw Ritsu hanging out with girls on the campus. One night, Masumi starts stalking Ritsu, who is with a girl at the station. He starts following Ritsu, but he loses him. And then Ritsu shouts, asking him to stop what he’s doing. If not, Ritsu will reveal to their club members that Masumi is gay because he doesn’t intend to hide his sexuality. And the flashback ends. In the current year, Masumi meets the person he doesn’t want to see again, Ritsu, at the library.
Since this drama is under the same production as “Pornographer” and “Novelist”, it’s guaranteed that you won’t be missing any touch of any intimate scenes. It’s still a good surprise to see Seto’s bolder role than his previous BL, “Senpai, This Can’t Be Love”. Masumi and Ritsu’s relationship is toxic… and one can only wonder how it goes as the story progresses.
