When you thought ‘Our Dining Table‘ is over — a spin-off episode is coming out next week!

The heartfelt Japanese BL drama about food and family, ‘Our Dining Table’ surprises fans with a spin-off. The special episode is about the Ueda family and Yutaka going on a trip to celebrate Tane’s birthday, where they enjoy a BBQ made from fish, meat, and veggies. And later, they head to the hot spring, where Minoru sees a message on Yutaka’s smartphone and causes a misunderstanding! Will Minoru and Yutaka resolve the misunderstanding?

If you still haven’t watched the ten-episode TV drama adaptation based on Mita Ori’s slice-of-life BL, this is your time to catch up before the spin-off airs next week! It stars “A Man Who Defies the World of BL” actor Atsuhiro Inukai and “We’re Both Grooms” actor Iijima Hiroki.

Despite his talent for cooking, salaryman Yutaka Hozumi (Atsuhiro Inukai) finds it difficult to share meals with other people. However, his life starts to change when one day, his cooking attracts the attention of a young boy named Tane (Maeyama Kuuga) and his older brother Minoru (Iijima Hiroki). The two brothers are impressed by Yutaka’s cooking skills and invite him to their house to cook together. Yutaka’s dreary life begins to change, and soon he finds himself looking forward to the meals he shares with the Ueda siblings together, as well as developing a taste for romantic feelings…
