Episode 5.
That night, Fumiya went home and found Ritsu sitting on the sofa, looking at their picture on the floor. The next day, he woke up, but Ritsu left early in the morning. The latter went to the cafe to meet his brother. He handed him the photo and asked him if he and Fumiya were dating. Shuji was so nervous as he told him that he and Fumiya were a great couple. He apologized to his brother for not telling him the truth. Though Shuji told him that Fumiya meant no harm when he asked him not to tell him the truth, Ritsu was still disappointed and said that he couldn’t trust Fumiya anymore.
Fumiya was on his way to work when Shuji called him and said that Ritsu finally knew everything. He went home immediately, but Ristu was not there. On the other hand, Ritsu was walking in the park when Kajiya called him to remind him about his work schedule that day. He forgot about it, but he still went to the publishing house that day. Fumiya went to his room and found the latter’s schedule. He went to the publishing house and saw Ritsu and Kajiya having a conversation together. Kajiya noticed that Ritsu was absent-minded that day.
He was busy looking for a restaurant when the latter suddenly told him that he and Fumiya were a couple. He was stunned after hearing it straight from him. He told him that the first time he saw Fumiya, he was positive that he liked Ritsu, as the latter gave him an intense glare. Ritsu was stunned by what he said. He told Kajiya that when he saw him at the hospital, he felt uneasy since he didn’t know him, but after spending some time with him, he felt familiar. Fumiya heard Kajiya when he told Ritsu that he also wondered why the latter didn’t tell him about their relationship.
They were both shocked when Fumiya suddenly came in front of them and asked if he could talk to Ritsu alone, but the latter declined. Fumiya was ready to go alone, but Kajiya stopped him and told Ritsu that they should talk so they could fix everything. They went home, and their argument started as soon as they entered the house, Ritsu asked him why he had lied to him. Fumiya told him everything that happened the night they broke up. They were happy celebrating Ritsu’s birthday that night. They even made out, which made their night warm and passionate. As the night goes on, Ritsu agrees to work on the day that he and Fumiya will have a date.
The latter got mad, and their argument went serious, but still, Ritsu wanted to hug him, but Fumiya pushed him away. Their fight continues when a glass drops on the floor. Fumiya tells him that the two of them can’t live together anymore. When Ritsu realized that he was breaking up with him, he grabbed his coat and walked away. Back in the present, Ritsu realized that he was a mess. Fumiya told him that he was scared that they would break up; that’s why he never complained before. He also confessed that he lied to him because he thought that if they started over, everything would fall back into place.
But Ritsu wanted to remember everything, as he thought that if he erased what happened, he could never reflect on what he did. And for him, starting over with someone who would hide something so important was unimaginable. Fumiya burst into tears when Ritsu told him that he couldn’t live like that with him.
