‘Cherry Magic’ Announces Anime Adaptation

Yes, you read it right! Aside from the Thai adaptation of ‘Cherry Magic’, we are also getting its anime version!

On July 4th, the creator of the hit manga series ‘Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard!’ Toyota Yuu announced that ‘Cherry Magic’ will have its own animated TV series. Voice actors Chiaki Kobayashi and Ryota Suzuki will voice Adachi and Kurosawa, respectively. The animation is produced by Satelight, directed by Yoshiko Okuda, and characters are designed by Takahiro Kishida, who also worked on the ‘Haikyu!’ series!

Chaika Kobayashi is a voice actor affiliated with Office Osawa who is known for his works as Hiroto Kuga in ‘Gundam Build Divers Re:Rise’, Deuce Spade in ‘Disney: Twisted-Wonderland’, Makoto Edamura in ‘Great Pretender’, Langa Hasegawa in ‘SK8 the Infinity’, Gabimaru in ‘Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku’ and Mash Burnedead in ‘Mashle’.

Ryota Suzuki is a voice actor affiliated with VIMS talent agency who is known for his works as Ryusui Nanami in ‘Dr. Stone: Ryusui’, Arai in ‘Boruto: Naruto Next Generation’ and Jin Kusanagi, Makoto Kimishima, Yoroizaka in ‘Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS’.

SYNOPSIS: Having never had sex in his life, after Kiyoshi Adachi reaches his 30th birthday he becomes a “wizard”: he develops an ability to hear the thoughts of other people by touching them. One day, he discovers that his popular co-worker, Yuichi Kurosawa, is in love with him. While dealing with the awkwardness of being able to hear Kurosawa’s rather forthright feelings towards him, Adachi comes to terms with how much Kurosawa values him and starts to develop reciprocal feelings of his own.
