An upcoming Japanese BL drama “Naked Dining” revealed the main actors and its release date!
“Naked Dining” is an upcoming romantic-comedy drama starring theater actor, Shori Kondo and Goto Yutaro (from the hit Japanese BL “Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!” and “A Man Who Defies The World of BL seasons 1 and 2). The drama is under the direction of Misato Kato and Ayaka Kato (who also directed “Old Fashion Cupcake”).
It depicts the story of Futa Ichijo, who spends his days as an impeccable high-spec man. However, finds a way of life after falling in love unexpectedly. Ichijo, likes to eat naked — his way to relieve stress after working overtime until morning — and he falls asleep at his grandmother’s house. One day, Mahiro Miki, his grandmother’s friend who runs a fruit and vegetable store, comes into the house and happens to witness Ichijo eating naked, which is Ichijo’s secret that he has been keeping from anyone until now.
Shori Kondo plays the role of Futa Ichijo, who works for the Financial Services Agency. Meanwhile, Yutarou plays the role of Mahiro Miki, who Ichijo falls in love with. Ichijo found a recipe notebook left behind by his late grandmother and every weekend, Mahiro starts cooking. As the two spend time together, Ichijo’s emotion is stirred by Mahiro.
‘Naked Dining’ is scheduled to premiere on April 13th, every Thursday at 24:25~24:55 JST (Japan Standard Time) on a local TV station, Kansai TV. For international fans, it will be available a day after Japan’s release on April 14, every Friday at 10 AM GMT+8 (Taiwan Standard Time) on GagaOOLala.
