Fresh from the popularity they gained from the Korean dating show ‘Love Alarm Clap! Clap! Clap!’, Jasmine (real name: Jeong Seunghee) and White Rose (real name: Kim Hyo Eun) answered questions for the Chinese magazine SPOTLiGHT’s March issue.
In the interview, Jasmine was asked, “You said that you ‘fell in love at first sight’ with White Rose. What was your first impression of her?” Jasmine answered, “More than ‘falling in love’, I felt more interested in her. Before filming (Love Alarm Clap! Clap! Clap!), we actually shared a room backstage. We didn’t see each other’s faces and could only speak to each other. And (just from the conversation), I found her someone who is nice. I thought she seemed like a nice person. And from then on, I think I had a good first impression of her.”
Since the two are being interviewed together, Jasmine turned to White Rose and asked her if she liked her answer, and with a wide smile, White Rose said, “I really liked your answer.”
Likewise, White Rose was asked about her ideal type and if there were any changes in it after she met Jasmine. White Rose answered, “First of all, before I started filming for ‘Love Alarm Clap! Clap! Clap’, I don’t think I had any special ideal type when it comes to looks. I think I only wanted that person to be tall. More than looks, I think I look more at the personality of the person. A person who has a good sense of humor that matches (mine), and a caring person is someone that I feel interested in. When I met Jasmine, I don’t think any of it changed much at all. As I already mentioned in the show, there are a lot of different kinds of love in this world. No matter what kind of love it is, it is beautiful and precious.”
