‘Our Dining Table’ Sets to Premiere on April 6th!

The second poster of ‘Our Dining Table’ and a new set of the cast has been revealed!

‘Our Dining Table’ is an upcoming live adaptation of Mita Ori’s slice-of-life BL manga starring Atsuhiro Inukai from “A Man Who Defies The World Of BL Seasons 1 and 2” and Hiroki Iijima from “We’re Both Grooms”. It tells about Yutaka Hozumi, an office worker who doesn’t like to eat with other people. One day he met the brothers, Minoru and Tane at the park and somehow taught him how to make onigiri. The three of them spend more time around the dining table together, and the distance between Yutaka and Minoru grows closer.

In addition to Atsuhiro Inukai, Hiroki Iijima, and Kuuga Maeyama, the production also revealed its additional cast. Harada Ryuji will play the role of Koji Ueda, Minuro and Tane’s father. Seika Furuhata and Tomohiro Ichikawa will play the role of Rei Ohata, Yutaka’s colleague, and Yuki Hozumi, Yutaka’s younger brother, respectively. Tetsuji from Shampoohat plays Goto, the manager of a ramen shop where Minuro’s working as part-time, Shiori Tamada plays Nao, Minuro’s ex-girlfriend and lastly, Hasegawa Kiryu as Mika Ueda, as Minuro and Tane’s mother.

Eating around other people is a struggle for salaryman Yutaka Hozumi (Atsuhiro Inukai), despite his talent for cooking. All that changes when he meets Minoru Ueda (Hiroki Iijima) and Tane Ueda (Kuuga Maeyama)—two brothers, many years apart in age—who ask him to teach them how to make his delicious food! It’s not long before Yutaka finds himself falling hard for the meals they share together—and falling in love!

‘Our Dining Table’ is set to premiere on April 6th and will air every Thursday at 11:00 PM JST (Japan Standard Time) on channel BS-TBS and rerun on TVer. For international fans, please stay tuned for further updates.
