The LGBT-inclusive series ‘House of the Dragon‘ just introduced trans actress Abigail Thorn in the finale of the second season of the ‘Game of Thrones’ spin-off.
After eight exciting episodes, the HBO hit series finally concluded on August 4, Friday, with a finale that made queer fans happy with Rhaenyra (Emma D’Arcy) and Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke) reuniting for a brief moment.
But that is not all that piqued the interest of fans as a new character has been introduced, much to the delight of the viewers.
Thorn, a trans actor, plays the Lysene Triarchy Admiral Sharako Lohar, a vicious commander of the navy and a new ally to Team Green.
In George RR Martin’s books, Lohar is a man but in the series, her character is merged with Racallio Ryndoon, a captain-general who declared himself King of the Narrow Sea. Although Lohar identifies as a woman, society considers her a man because of her role in the war.
