GMMTV denied rumors about disbanding its popular couple Pond Naravit Lertratkosum and Phuwin Tangsakyuen.
The couple, more affectionately referred to by their ship name PondPhuwin, are known for their BL series ‘Fish Upon The Sky’, ‘Never Let Me Go’, and ‘We Are Series’.
Recently, a photo of an alleged statement from GMMTV spread online claiming that the two “have decided to pursue different career paths.”
On Friday, September 13, the entertainment agency released a statement denying the rumor and urging fans to be more vigilant about fraudulent announcements.
“A statement is currently circulating online claiming that Pond Naravit and Phuwin Tangsakyuen will cease working together. We would like to clarify that this is untrue and no such statement has been issued by us.
We kindly ask the public not to fall for or spread any statements or rumors that have not been issued through our official channels. Please refrain from sharing the forged statement and false information being circulated online.
Document forgery is a criminal offense punishable by fines and imprisonment. We will pursue legal action against those involved in this crime to protect the rights and reputation of our artists and company.
