Let’s go lesbians, let’s go!
After starring in the critically *ahem* reviewed ‘Madame Web’, fans of Dakota Johnson will be delighted to know that a new heartwarming, lesbian romantic comedy-drama, ‘Am I Okay?’, led by the actress will hit the streaming site, Max on June 6!
Although the film debuted way back in 2022 at the Sundance Film Festival, it is only this year that audiences worldwide will get to see this lesbian self-discovery romcom that shows age doesn’t matter when it comes to figuring out who you are and how to live your life and taking a platonic friendship to a new level.
In this new trailer, the main lead Lucy (Johnson) spends most of her 20s trying and failing to feel any emotional or sexual connection with the men she dates and it is only when she finds herself crying in a bathroom that she realizes that maybe it’s time for her to go and try new things (in more ways than one)!
After coming out as a baby gay, Jane, Lucy’s best friend, played by Sonoya Mizuno helps her navigate the world-bending and mind-altering arena of dating women while simultaneously learning to accept her new reality.
