‘My Stand In’ follows Joe, a stuntman for the famous actor Tong, who forms a deep relationship with Ming, unaware that Ming sees him as a replacement for Tong. After Joe’s accidental death on a film set, he wakes up in another boy’s body named Joe. Ming tries to bring Joe back into his life, seeking closure for unfinished business. Will their love finally be fulfilled?

In the next episode, Joe accepts the movie project to prove that what Tong can do, he can do as well. He understands that Ming only agreed to date him because he sees him as Tong. Tong, unable to accept that a stand-in has replaced him after being fired from the project by the director, asks Ming for help. The following scene shows the continuation from the first episode where Joe was doing a stunt and fell off a cliff, raising the question of whether Tong or Ming had something to do with this.
