Heads up! Another Chinese BL is coming!

On March 31, the official Weibo account of “路过我年少时光的蓝色 (Blue Time), also known as Passing by Me the Blue of Youth, finally announced their upcoming Chinese BL, which will feature two BL couples with behind-the-scenes photo stills.

The next day, the production revealed the two BL couples and one straight couple to look forward to in the series. Without further ado, let’s meet them:

Main BL Couple: Zhang Xuan and Guo Jia Le as Qin Xiao and Qi Lu

Side BL Couple: Yao Xing Hao and Xiao Zi Zhou as Líu Ming Yang and Tan Yin

BG Couple: Li Jue Xuan and Hu Ze Ming as Sun Xiao Rui and Wei Jia Yu

The story revolves around Qi Lu, an artistic prodigy who rebels against his strict upbringing and controlling father by secretly attending Bo Xa Art Studio. There, he meets Qin Xiao, a talented man who bears the burden of family responsibility at a young age. Despite starting off as archenemies, the two gradually break the ice and form a bond together.

Li Xi is the director of the upcoming twelve-episode youth- and campus-themed BL, which will soon be available on an international OTT platform.

This scheme releasing Chinese BL is not new in the scene, as some Chinese BL dramas, namely ‘In Your Heart’ and ‘Stay With Me’, are available on several global streaming platforms, including the leading LGBTQ+ BL media global hub, GagaOOLala.
