In the last episode of ‘Tokyo In April Is…‘, Ren and Kazuma’s relationship advanced to another level. Will the truth come out in this episode?

Episode 4: “Let’s do it.”
After an eventful few days at their work, Ren came back with Kazuma to his apartment. As Ren flopped on the sofa, Kazuma pats his head and tells him he’s done a great job. As Kazuma got up to leave, Ren grabs his hand and tells him he wants to have sex. They go to the bedroom and as they kiss and undress, Ren mutters about the light (because he does not want to be seen). Kazuma puts his hands on his eyes and tells him in the sweetest way possible that “if you don’t want me to see you, I’ll cover my eyes; if you don’t want me to hear you, I’ll cover my ears.” Ren, clearly touched by this, hugged Kazuma.
The next day, as Ren was picking up a call and taking down notes, he saw a box of items that says Kazuma’s high school things. He opens them up and saw files and files of paperwork and even an old photo of them, seemingly noting down where Ren might be. Ren remembers moments ever since they met again: when Kazuma took his hands and tells him he’s Kazuma, when he hugged him and says he missed him so much… Upon realizing this, Ren cried and said “he searched for me all around the world…”.
Ren remembers when he first fell in love with Kazuma. He liked him the first time he saw him and wanted to protect him. But it was when they were talking about “girlfriends” that Ren felt dejected because he came up with the conclusion that Kazuma didn’t like men. When they had sex the first time, Ren thought Kazuma only did it because he felt pity for him and because Kazuma was just an incredibly nice person. Even so, Ren was happy because he liked him. But then, the morning after, Kazuma fell incredibly ill and was unable to wake up. Ren called for help, and it was then that he was told by the doctor that he needs to tell the truth in order to save Kazuma. And so, despite the circumstances but wanting to save Kazuma more than anything in the world, Ren says he forced Kazuma to have sex with him and that he was not able to eat anything before then, and he was also soaked in the rain. Kazuma’s mother slapped him and told him never to appear in front of him ever again.
Unfortunately, the heartbreak does not stop there. Ren’s father sends him overseas as a last resort and essentially abandons him. But before he leaves, Ren harms himself so he can go to the hospital and see Kazuma for the last time. He goes to Ren, who was still unconscious, and apologizes for liking him. He cries, holds his hand, and tells him: “Please don’t die… I like you… Please stay alive…”.
