It’s about dang time for our lover boy, Benedict!
After its very successful third installment, ‘Bridgerton’ announced that it was finally Benedict’s turn to meet the love of his life. Although the second Bridgerton child was originally supposed to have the third season as his as first seen in “An Offer From a Gentleman”, the third book in the ‘The Bridgerton Series’ by Julia Quinn, his spotlight was essentially turned off momentarily to give way to his brother Colin and now wife (spoiler alert) Penelope.
But alas! The time has finally come. Benedict has been the apple of everyone’s eye since he was first introduced as the bubbly, charismatic, and handsome artistic second son of Violet Birdgerton. Not afraid to experience anything and everything under the sun, appreciative of the beauty of women and (again, spoiler alert) men (we still can’t believe he’s canonically pansexual), Benedict through the excellent portrayal of Luke Thompson has garnered passionate and die-hard fans who are tirelessly awaiting his happily ever after.
But the question remains… who will he end up running to the sunset with?
For those who don’t have any background on the book series, considering his past flings and recent relationships is not far-fetched. However, if you are a certified Bridgerton bookfiend then you probably know the amazing Sophie Beckett, an independent and hardworking maid who ends up falling in love with the prince-like lad. She has been the number 1 contender for this spot, of course.
