Filipino LGBTQIA+ icons Vice Ganda and Paolo Ballesteros recently starred in the viral fast food commercial released on November 27, Monday.

The one-minute ad, titled “Share The Love,” immediately went viral as it featured the two queer and award-winning hosts of competing noontime shows sharing a friendly moment in one of the top fast food chains in the Philippines.

The commercial shows Ganda in full drag arriving with a box full of chicken, taking a seat in front of the ‘Drag Race’ host and head judge (who is also in drag), and jokingly taking a photo of Ballesteros and the advertised chicken.

The two then joked about the monikers of each other program audiences with the ‘It’s Showtime’ host saying “Perfect for the ‘Madlang People,’” and the ‘E.A.T’ host replying, “Even better for the ‘Dabarkads.’ Let’s E.A.T.!” Paolo replied.

Fans of the two queer superstars have been clamoring for collaboration and a guesting for Ganda in the Philippine franchise of the reality drag competition. This commercial is no exception as it received positive reactions and responses from viewers and consumers, with most expressing their delight in seeing the two queer icons in one frame.

One commenter said “I’m not even joking when I say this commercial is queer history being made !!!!!!!!! mama pao and meme vice you will always be FAMOUS!”
