A feel-good romantic comedy Filipino BL ‘STAY’ is coming out this summer!
‘STAY’ is a six-episode Pinoy BL web drama that centers on the romantic journey of two young Asian men, Joshua and Andrew, who unexpectedly meet in Los Angeles. The series stars actors Sebastian Castro and Ellis Gage. The series is directed, written, produced, and edited by Allan Ibanez and Dexter Hemedez who directed and wrote the multi-awarded feature film ‘FIRST SEMESTER’.

SYNOPSIS: For Filipino filmmaker Joshua Santos, winning the Grand Jury Award at a film festival in Los Angeles for a short film he directed, wrote, and produced is the realization of his dreams. He is ready to go back home to his family and friends in the Philippines to celebrate his triumph. But on his last night in LA, he, unfortunately, falls victim to a “professional scammer”. Joshua promises to himself that he will not go home until he finds the swindler who took all his money.
As he looks for a cheap room where he could stay for a few weeks, he unexpectedly meets Andrew Lee, a hardworking and uptight Korean immigrant who owns a studio unit. As they start to share a small room together, Andrew willingly shares with Joshua some tricks and tips for making it in Los Angeles. Joshua eventually finds himself attracted to Andrew who continuously helps him survive the challenges and uncertainties of living in the big city. Andrew also secretly falls in love with Joshua, too. But what will happen to their blossoming love when it is time for Joshua to go back home? Or will love be enough reason for Joshua to stay with Andrew in the United States?
