The opening scene for the second season of the much-anticipated queer Netflix series ‘Heartstopper’ is here, and it gets us so hyped up for its release on August 3!
The first scene, just over two minutes long, shows Charlie (played by Joe Locke) waking up to an Instagram message from Nick (played by Kit Conner) — just a heart — which gets him all smiley and all set for the day. They exchange texts throughout the whole scene, and when Charlie finally arrives in his room, Nick covers his eyes from behind, and they exchange hi’s.
It’s really short, way too short, definitely a teaser (and it works), and it makes us want more! But alas we have to wait for over a month before we all get to see how things are going to unfold for our favorite boys and their queer friends.
