‘Heartstopper’ is almost here —and with the upcoming release of the much-awaited queer series comes teasers!

Keeping us on our toes, Netflix releases new photos to anticipate the release of ‘Heartstopper’s new season next month. As fans of Alice Oseman’s original work may know, the second part of Nick and Charlie’s adventure tackles their life as a couple and they would also be touching on some very realistic issues that young people, especially in the queer spectrum, are going through.

But putting that aside, we will see more domesticity between Nick (played by Kit Connor) and Charlie (played by Joe Locke) as shown in the newly-released photos!

Meanwhile, after much teasing (and taunting), Netflix finally released the new teaser of ‘Heartstopper’ season 2!

A lot of the scenes definitely stayed true to the original webcomics (the hickey!!!) and the Paris scenes are definitely ones that fans will look forward to. This season, there will be a lot of stories to unpack including Nick and Charlie’s developing young love; Tao and Elle’s slow-burn tiptoe-ing in taking their relationship to the next level; Tara and Darcy’s different ways of expressing their love; and Isaac’s possible (?) love interest, James.

Season 1 ended on a good note, with Nick coming out as bisexual to his mother (played by Olivia Colman), however this season, he might have a harder time dealing with it with other people. Alice Oseman said in an interview, “It goes so well with his mum, but that doesn’t mean it’s going to go super well with every single person in his life.” Executive Producer Patrick Walters shares the same sentiment in the same interview, as most of the queer community, saying, “You don’t just come out once. You come out a variety of different ways, multiple times over your life.”
