‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ alum Gigi Goode shared her gender-affirming journey in the WOW Presents Plus series ‘Avalon TV.’
The ‘Drag Race’ season 12 finalist who came out as trans in 2021 underwent a fat transfer breast augmentation surgery which was shown in the fifth episode of the series.
The 4-minute exclusive clip features Goode’s surgery which was conducted by Dr. David Rosenberg. World of Wonder and Max Bronner not only documented Goode’s procedure for the show but also conducted a photo shoot with her to showcase the before and after.
Whilst undergoing surgery, Good opened up about her mother expressing her doubts that people might view the documentation of her journey, saying that it might get misconstrued as asking for attention when “people already hate trans people.” However, Goode rebutted that this was a “very personal project” for her.
