When Bu finds out that the more he gets in touch with Jiang-chi, the more he doesn’t hear any ghostly voice, he starts to find ways to approach Jiang. Is it because of Jiang’s charm? The more Jiang knows, the more confused he becomes.

“Shall I Compare You to a Summer’s Day?” is a contemporary queer musical inspired by Arab folktales and Egyptian pop music. Told in the style of “One Thousand and One Nights,” the story follows Shahrazad as she shares personal love stories with ghosts of former lovers. Through the use of traditional storytelling techniques and classical Arabic language, the intricate layers of each tale gradually unfold.
