SNH48 Idol Shen Xiao Ai Exposes Ex-GF In The Group For Cheating on Her With Another Member

A girl group member just exposed her now ex-girlfriend for cheating on her with another member of their group, SNH48.

Shen Xiao Ai is a member of SNH48, a Shanghai-based sister group of the Japanese idol group AKB48.

Recently, the 28-year-old idol Xiao Ai took to social media to come out and expose her ex-girlfriend and co-member Lu Xin Yi, 22, for cheating on her with another member, Wang Yu Chen, 21.

In a post on Weibo, Xiao Ai revealed that they had been together for two and a half years, but Xin Yi began an “emotional affair” towards the end of their relationship.

Xiao Ai said the cheating started during the group’s Best Partners competition, a competition within SNH48 where two members partner up to perform a duet. They agreed not to team up since she will graduate soon and they don’t work well as partners.

“You used the excuse of ‘getting to know your partner better, for work’ in order to chat with your partner from morning until bedtime every day. You two even played games after I’d gone to bed and wore couple bracelets without telling me. We’ve argued about this every day with no signs of stopping,” she wrote.

She detailed more about the alleged infidelity, including instances where there was suspicion about their relationship from Yu Chen which Xin Yi denied, saying she and Xiao Ai are just roommates and friends.

Xiao Ai shared that the two partners got closer, which made her jealous and ended with her breaking up with Xin Yi. They tried to reconcile after some time, but, Xiao Ai found out Xin Yi and Yu Chen’s extensive chatlogs and realized that Xin Yi had been fooling her for a long time.

Since Xiao Ai’s post, Xin Yi has denied the allegations through Weibo and claimed that she and Yu Chen are just friends. Xiao Ai refuted the claims, saying she had more proof that the two did have an affair.
