‘Sense8’ Actor Brian J. Smith Announces Relationship with ‘Blue Blood’ Star Matt Consalvo

Actor of the LGBT-inclusive action fantasy series ‘Sense8’ Brian J. Smith has been confirmed to be in a relationship with ‘Blue Bloods’ star Matt Consalvo.

The announcement came through the Sense8 actor’s Instagram stories (reposted by fan account @brianjsmithbrasil) when he recently underwent surgery on his knees. In one story, Smith is shown on a hospital bed with Consalvo beside him. He wrote a thank-you message to Consalvo and said: “Surgery day! Couldn’t have done it without the love of my life – [Matt Consalvo].”

Smith is best known for playing Will on the queer series ‘Sense8,’ Berg in ‘The Matrix Resurrections,’ and Lt. Matthew Scott on ‘Stargate Universe.’ His recent works include playing Daniel Lennix on Hulu’s Class of ’09.’ Meanwhile, Consalvo’s filmography includes ‘Blue Bloods,’ ‘Special Ops: Lioness,’ and ‘Adam & the Water.’ He is also reportedly set to star in Starz’s ‘Hightown.’

Smith came out as gay in 2019 after ‘Sense8’s abrupt cancellation and ending in 2018.
