Pedro Pascal’s Trans Sister Lux Pascal Bags Role in Thriller Movie ‘Summer War’

Pedro Pascal’s trans sister Lux Pascal has bagged a major acting gig in the upcoming thriller movie ‘Summer War.’

The movie is based on the late Chilean author Roberto Bolaño’s posthumously discovered novel. According to Screen Daily which initially reported the news, “‘Summer War’ will center on a US champion of the board game Third Reich whose peaceful summer holiday in 1989 is shattered when a tourist mysteriously disappears at sea.”

The emerging trans actress will co-star with an international cast led by Canada’s Dan Beirne, Spanish-Chilean actress Aline Küppenheim, and Argentinian actors Agustín Pardella and Malena Sánchez.

The film is set to begin production this summer.

Pascal’s role has not been revealed but the actress has recently sent the online and the media world abuzz especially after attending the 2024 Emmy Awards with her brother in January, proudly showcasing their sibling love.

Aside from being known for being the ‘Game Of Thrones’ actor’s beloved trans sister, the 31-year-old actress also appeared in several films and series, more notably, the hit Netflix crime drama series ‘Narcos’ and the 2019 feature film ‘The Prince.’ The actress made her stage debut in the 2014 Chilean play ‘La Noche Obstinada’ by Pablo Rotemberg and landed her first screen role the same year in the Chilean television series ‘Los 80’. More recently, she participated in the short film ‘BUST,’ which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January.

The film will be helmed by the Chilean director Alicia Scherson who has earned international critical acclaim by winning awards and earning nominations at Karlovy Vary for Play, Rotterdam for Il Futuro, and Sundance for Family Life.
