The sapphics have something to rejoice about as the hit Filipino drama series ‘Dirty Linen’ finally confirmed that there is love between two of its female characters!
‘Dirty Linen’, an ongoing Filipino TV series, finally validated speculations among its fans that there is something romantic going on between the characters Leona Roque-Fiero (played by Janice de Belen) and Atty. Olga Arguelles (played by Andrea del Rosario).
In the latest episode that aired May 4, with a clip posted on YouTube, Leona vents to Olga about her frustrations towards her son, and proceeds to tell her that she wants to go out. With nowhere to go in mind in particular, Olga takes Leona’s hands and tells her that they could go somewhere “they can finally move on” before kissing Leona softly on the lips.
The clip, unfortunately, does not have subtitles, so for the non-Filipino audience, the kiss happens at 1:07.
The scene came both as a shock and a reason for celebration for many fans of the show who have been speculating that there is something “fruity” between the two. Prior to the latest episode, there has been no confirmation — by word or action — that the two are in a relationship. But with the kiss scene now out, fans are loving the pleasant surprise.
