Joe Locke has revealed his favorite scenes and storyline from the second season of ‘Heartstopper.’
In an interview with TV Insider, the ‘Heartstopper’ actor shared his favorite moment of the show, naming Tao (Will Gao) and Elle’s (Yasmin Finney) storyline as his pick.
The 19-year-old expressed that he thought that while there is the notion that ‘Heartstopper’ simplifies teenage relationships, Tao and Elle’s storyline shows that there is a lot of “chewing and fraying.” The actor also shared that the push and pull dynamics of the two, while being different from Nick and Charlie, is great and that the show is all about “showing different types of relationships.”
Locke also teased that the final scene of the show is his favorite of the show but also noted that it was “definitely the hardest scene to do as an actor.”
He then went on to say— without any spoilers— that it was a “very emotionally raw scene and it’s also the most grownup scene in the show.” The gay actor also shared that it showed the real maturity of the two leads, Nick (Kit Connor) and Charlie, as characters and said that while he is looking forward to viewers seeing it, it was also hard and “really tested his craft.”
