Gear up, Wildcats, because ‘High School Musical’ Ryan Evans as a gay man is officially canon!

‘HSM: The Musical: The Series’ releases a sneak peek of ‘High School Musical 4: The Reunion’ opening scene and it featured some familiar faces! This includes Disney’s HSM Movie alums Taylor McKessie (played by Monique Coleman), Chad Danforth (played by Corbin Bleu), Ryan Evans (played by Lucas Grabeel), and Martha Cox (played by Kaycee Stroh), among others.

Although the highly-anticipated reunion was what fans have been clamoring for (especially because Coach Bolton and Ms. Darbus are also present!), it was the surprise of Ryan Evans kissing his boyfriend after their performance that definitely made everyone say “Bravo!” (Bra-vah!).

After Ryan’s performance, he walked down on stage and told his boyfriend that it meant a lot to him that he came to watch him. His boyfriend praised him and told him he loves him, which earned a kiss from Ryan. And in a typical Evans move, Ryan sassily told him to give him his mic so he can perform more.
