A new comic is in town, and it’s as gay as it can possibly be!
‘Trance’, is a gay comic series created and written by Joey Capuana, illustrated by Pablo Collar, colored by Julio Rojas, and published by Scout Comics. It is a mix of suspense, mystery, adventure, and of course, a lot of gay stuff! It centers on a nightclub in Savannah, Georgia secretly run by a group of powerful queer witches. The nightclub, named “Trance” (hence the comic title), is “a queer hotspot beloved for heavy pours, sexy gogo dancers, and drag shows.” However, a homophobic serial killer starts murdering queers using a gay hookup app. Altar, the main character, becomes worried when their longtime lover suddenly disappears. Gifted in the art of tomes and the occult, Altar and their witch gang become unlikely detectives, clashing with law enforcement (police and witch law officers alike) only to discover that they are up against something eviler and more powerful.
