“I’ve come to realize that my current mental and physical health won’t allow me to bring you my best. My fans mean the absolute world to me and I am so incredibly thankful to every single person who has bought a ticket to come and see us play. I do not take it for granted,” Orville wrote.
The South African singer added that he will be taking the time to replenish his mind and body so he can come back stronger and healthier in order to be able to perform for a very long time.

Fans are also quick to convey their utmost support for the singer’s decision.
“Thank you for putting yourself first. Not only is that an important message for your fans to understand, but it’s so needed in the music industry. We need to normalize seeing musicians as people and not robots with unlimited energy/health. So thank you for putting this out on a large platform, hoping to see more musicians listen to their bodies/mental health and make healthier decisions,” one fan wrote.
