‘Love Island USA’ showed a same-sex kiss on its August 21 episode, as viewers saw Johnnie Garcia and Kassy Castillo share a giddy and lengthy kiss on-screen, the first time in the history of the USA version.
Both Garcia and Castillo experienced romance with fellow contestant Leonardo Dionicio, however, the plot twist caught fans off guard. The two confirmed that they actually have grown feelings for each other!
In the latest episode, Castillo confessed that she “obviously” finds Garcia attractive. “I just didn’t know if you felt the attraction, too, and I wanted to see if you’re seeing that,” she said.
Garcia replied, “B*tch, I’ve been seeing it, what do you mean?”
“I just wanted to know — we joke around and stuff — but I didn’t know if it was really joking or not,” Castillo continued. Garcia confirmed she wasn’t actually joking.
With that, the two laughed and nodded, sharing how they feel “fun” and “comfortable” with each other.
“Those aren’t things you find in people very often, where you get to be somebody else when you’re with them,” Garcia furthered, to which Castillo agreed.
“When I’m seeing you,” she said, “I think we’d be cute together, and I wouldn’t mind exploring more.”
It wasn’t long before the two shared a kiss before collapsing onto the bed. They would laugh after sharing such an intimate and sweet moment.
