The decision to change schools in order to avoid being with his stepbrother, only to end up transferring to the same school, felt like a twist of fate. From the first episode, it is immediately shown why Wu Bi was immediately drawn to Su Yu, thus paving the way to the beginning of their playful banter. Alongside occasional rivalries, the series also features heartwarming scenes that center around the theme of family, especially the impact of having single parents. Wu Bi goes through a significant change after discovering Su Yu’s family circumstances from his father, and the series effectively portrays Wu Bi’s longing to be a part of his world, driven by his own feelings of loneliness. Once the truth is revealed, it will surely bring tears and drastically alter their relationship, including the family Wu Bi has found in Su Yu’s family.
