‘Drag Race’ Season 11 Winner Yvie Oddly Gets Hitched in a Courthouse Wedding

‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ season 11 winner and ‘All Stars 7’ alum Yvie Oddly has announced that she has gotten married.

In an Instagram post on Monday, Oddly, born Jovan Jordan Bridges, shared a carousel of photos and video clips of her wedding with her partner Doug Illsley with the caption, “Last week I got married to some guy I met on Grindr… 🙊🙈 Now, I have A LOT of strong opinions about the institution of marriage but you can hear all about those on my Strange Love tour… 🤭, For now, I’ll just say that I love @dougyills and I’m so happy to be his hersband.”

Illsley left a comment under her post quipping about Oddly’s tardiness.

“Love u 4ever, even when you make us almost late to our own courthouse wedding,” Illsley wrote.

Oddly was also quickly showered with congratulatory messages from Drag Race judge Michelle Visage and her drag sisters like Willam, Nicky Doll, Shea Coulee, and Monet Xchange among others.

Oddly won the 11th season of Drag Race and went back to compete in the All-Winners season. She bested 14 other drag stars, undeterred by her type three Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos disease or HEDS, a rare tissue disorder where her body does not make enough collagen, which causes chronic pain and makes it easier for joints to dislocate.

Aside from Oddly and Illsley, several other queer couples have also gotten hitched this year. They are joined by Pentatonix singer Scott Hoying and Mark Manio, Lukas Gage, and Chris Appleton, among others.

Congratulations to the couple!
