After its initial release and swift removal, ‘Blue Canvas of Youthful Days’ has finally found a new home!

On October 18, the global LGBTQ+ BL global media hub GagaOOLala made a surprise announcement, revealing that ‘Blue Canvas of Youthful Days’ will be available on their platform starting next week. The series will air one episode per week, with a total of twelve episodes. The drama stars Gu Jia Le and Zhang Xuan Yu, alongside Xiao Zi Zhou and Yao Zing Hao.

‘Blue Canvas of Youthful Days’ first premiered last August with its initial four episodes, but it was quickly taken down due to content restrictions in its country of origin. To support the show, viewers are advised to avoid referencing its original Chinese title in your posts.

The drama follows Qi Lu, who comes from a family of artists, was forced to learn painting from a young age under his father’s controllin influence. In his senior year of high school, due to a misunderstanding, he decides to study in Liu Mingyang’s studio. There, he meets Qin Xiao , a village boy living in the city, and a talented painter burdened by family responsibilities. Qin Xiao turns out to be the online artist “Lan” whom Qi Lu has been searching for. Feeling guilty towards “Lan,” Qi Lu struggles to muster the courage to confess his secret to the seemingly irritable Qin Xiao. Instead, he approaches Qin Xiao with the hope of becoming friends. As they break the ice and grow closer, Qi Lu becomes increasingly moved by Qin Xiao’s resilience and starts to have different expectations for their relationship…

‘Blue Canvas of Youthful Days’ is set to premiere on October 26 and will air one episode every Saturday and Sunday at 8 PM GMT+8 on GagaOOLala except in Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea.
