Dating show ‘Sparks Camp’ is officially coming back for a second season.

Black Sheep announced on its X (formerly Twitter) account on January 26, Friday, that the Philippines’ first-ever BL dating reality show will be coming soon on to YouTube with a bigger, louder, and prouder season.

‘Sparks Camp’ featured a cast of 10 single guys who identify as either gay, bisexual, or pansexual, who all played mini-games and won dates with each other to ultimately find their mutual spark.

The cast of the first season included Dan Galman, Nick Deocampo, Gabe Balita, Justin Macapallag, Stanley Bawalan, Karl Bau, Aaron Maniego, Alex De Ungria, Bong Gonzales, and Nat Magbitang.

Two pairs of campers have found their mutual sparks in the queer reality dating show. In a last-minute spark of connection, Bautista, an architect, and De Ocampo, a business owner, have found each other together with college students De Ungria and Macapallag.

It was directed by acclaimed director and story editor Theodore Boborol and was written by Patrick Valencia, who is known for his queer-centric works like ‘Hanging Out,’ ‘The Third Party,’ and the ‘Hello Stranger’ BL series. Daniel Saniana, writer of ‘Sila Sila’ also co-wrote the show. LGBTQIA+ icon and trans activist hosted the series as the campers’ “Mother Sparker.” She is also known for her digital show ‘3Some,’ her TikTok series ‘Mahalagang MELAman Mo,’ and her YouTube content ‘All Things T.’
