Celebrities doing red carpet interviews could be a hit or miss for the internet but BBC’s latest one towards ‘All Of Us Strangers’ actor Andrew Scott has been deemed “cringy” and “awkward” by many fans and for a good reason.
BBC’s Colin Paterson is currently under fire for his borderline homophobic questions towards the 47-year-old gay actor at the 77th British Academy Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards on February 19, Monday.
Paterson earned the ire of the internet when Paterson asked Scott if he knows fellow actor ‘Barry Keoghan’ who was nominated for the best supporting actor award for his role in the hit queer thriller movie ‘Saltburn.’
When Scott confirmed that he knew Keoghan, Paterson then asked him for his reaction to watching the ‘Saltburn’ actor naked in the iconic dance scene at the finale of the movie, which earned uncomfortable laughter from Scott before adding that he did not want to spoil it for people who had not seen it yet.
