‘All Of Us Strangers’ is finally getting the flowers it deserves!
After being snubbed by most award-giving bodies, the Andrew Haigh-helmed ghostly queer romance film finally won three major trophies at the 15th annual Dorian Film Awards.
‘All of Us Strangers’ became the most-awarded movie of the night after it took home the LGBTQ Film of the Year award, LGBTQ Screenplay of the Year, and the Film of the Year award, beating other popular, queer favorite films such as ‘Barbie,’ ‘May December,’ ‘Past Lives,’ and ‘Poor Things’.
The Dorian Awards, named after Oscar Wilde’s novel ‘The Picture of Dorian Gray,’ are film and television accolades given by GALECA: The Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics, founded in 2009 as the Gay and Lesbian Entertainment Critics Association. GALECA consists of hundreds of professional journalists writing for TV and film from reputable media outlets in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and the UK, with most members identifying themselves as members of the LGBTQ community.
