Burmese BL ‘The Bus Stop’ is now streaming on YouTube and Facebook.
‘The Bus Stop (မှတ်တိုင်)’ is a 30-minute short film produced by TRUST Entertainment starring Kaung Zan Hein and Vita Min as Okkar Min Khant and Htoo Weya Bo, respectively. It tells about a young man who hires a sex worker to satisfy his needs.

Follows Htoo Weya Bo (Vita Min), who falls in love at first sight with a sex worker, Okkar Min Khant (Kaung Zan Hein). One night, Bo hires Khant, not for pleasure but to ask him to act like they are lovers that have known each other for so long. The two went to a bar, where Bo revealed how he discovered him and later met Khant’s regular customer who missed his service.
Bo is enraged, but Khant stops him. He is now worried that he might be blacklisted from work because of the incident. A couple of minutes later, Khant went to the stage to play a song, and teary-eyed Bo rushed to leave the bar. He only hired Khant for a night and will leave by the following day. Khant looked for Bo and asked to go home together. In the car, Khant asked what was wrong with him, but Bo tells him he is fine. Khant is unsatisfied with the response, so he pulls the car over and asks him again why he’s upset. Bo insisted that there is nothing wrong and told him to keep driving.
However, Bo was caught off-guard when Khant suddenly kissed him. Khant told Bo to stop his feelings towards him since he is still young and not yet capable to face the challenges of life. After a long conversation inside the car, Bo was left alone to contemplate. And suddenly, the doorbell rang…
