The fourth season of ‘9-1-1 Lone Star’ is gearing up for a ‘big gay wedding’ for its finale, but that big day isn’t going to be as smooth sailing as we all want it to be.
Since the show’s debut in 2020, characters Tyler Kennedy “TK” Strand (played by Ronen Rubinstein) and Carlos Reyes (played by Rafael Silva) have remained a favorite on-screen loved-up couple. While TK and Carlos have been through a lot of ups and downs throughout the show, enduring relationship dramas, including a shocking break-up before capping the third season with a romantic marriage proposal, it seems that the power couple won’t be catching a break even on their wedding day.
‘9-1-1 Lone Star’ creator Tim Minear teased in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that something will happen in the two-hour season finale.
The wedding is going to be beautiful, that’s for sure, and Minear promised that. “It’s going to be a beautiful wedding — we shot it already and I think it’s going to be really emotional,”
However, there’s a caveat. “Although I don’t know if I want to tease that,” he ominously warned, “because what’s going to really happen is tragedy will strike and the entire thing will be put in question.”Whatever this tragedy is, it is kept and guarded as a secret until its revelation in the 18th episode of the season, Minear said.
