GMMTV has shared an update on the physical assault case filed against their actor Pawin Thanik Kamontharanon.
Earlier this year, BL fans were shocked to their cores when a woman came forward claiming as the actor’s former girlfriend and accused Pawin of physically assaulting her. The woman named Kaellynnn Thanradee Chanchaninkul alleged that the actor choked and hit her in the head, and provided proof in the form of photos of her numerous bruises plus videos proving their romantic relationship on her Instagram stories, tagging Pawin and GMMTV.
As a result, Pawin was suspended from all works and activities until a clear conclusion is reached. Pawin also withdrew from the BL series ‘We Are’ and was eventually replaced by Poon Mitpakdee.
On May 31, Friday, GMMTV has released a statement updating everyone on the case.
“The two parties requested a mediation in the presence of police officers and came to an agreeable settlement which ended with both parties dismissing their cases, hence concluded the lawsuit.”
