‘Monster Next Door’ follows the story of Diewdai, an introvert who cherishes his ultra-private world, hidden away in his apartment with his best friend, a turtle named Khun Chai. Diew’s peaceful life is turned upside down when God, an extroverted senior from another faculty, moves in next door. God’s loud daily parties push Diew’s tolerance to the limit. One night, unable to bear the noise any longer, Diew slams his door shut to signal his displeasure. Despite their differences, Diew and God begin to communicate, forming an unlikely friendship. However, there’s a catch: Diew insists they mustn’t meet face-to-face.
The twelve-episode web drama, starring Thanakorn Kuljarassombat (Big) and Anantadej Sodsee (Park), is based on Jiwinil’s novel “Godzilla Next Door.” This is the third WeTV original following ‘Knock Knock Boys’ and ‘I Saw You In My Dream,’ which are both available to stream on GagaOOLala.
