Moo coins the term “Appointment with Kang” in the behind-the-scenes for episode 3.
Kang sells curry-rice at a school where he meets Moo, a twelfth-grader aspiring to be an idol. Moo juggles flirting with Kang and idol training but struggles because debuting as an idol means he can’t have a romantic relationship.
In the behind-the-scenes video for episode 3, Moo explains the meaning of “Appointment with Kang,” referring to meeting up at a rice and curry (Kang) shop. Payos chats about Potae, revealing how he appeared focused while Kang taught him dance moves, but was actually sleeping. The director guides the actors in a scene where Kang pulls Moo’s hands away from his mouth, leading to a sweet moment. At the market, the vibe gets killed when Moo asks Kang what they’re doing there, earning small jabs from Moo to Kang. Another scene highlights Moo’s actor mirroring his character’s flirtatious personality. And, of course, there are many moments where Kang and Moo close the distance between them.
