While waiting for the ‘4 Minutes’ release next month, the band Getsunova features BibleJes in their newest short film and music video.
‘SPACELESS’ is a 20-minute-long short film starring Wichapas Sumettikul (Bible) and Jespipat Tilapornputt (Jes), both from the upcoming VIU Original ‘4 Minutes’. This short is inspired by Getsunova’s newest song, entitled “ไม่ต้องมีที่ที่ให้ฉันอยู่ แต่ขอแค่มีฉันอยู่ก็พอ”, with a literal English translation of “I don’t need a place to stay, just having me here is enough.” The story follows Tul and Garn, two actors who meet during an audition and develop a close friendship over the years. However, as time passes, their relationship becomes more complex, and they find themselves in a space where their feelings for each other can’t be fully expressed.
The film jumps back and forth in time, showing us the highs and lows of their friendship, including moments of joy, heartbreak, and even a baby. It’s a bittersweet tale that explores the idea of unrequited love and the different spaces we occupy in our relationships.
Jes and Bible deliver some pretty solid performances, considering the limited runtime. If you’re in the mood for a short, emotional ride, Spaceless might just hit the spot. Just be sure to have some tissues handy!
