UPDATE: Regal Romance ‘The Next Prince’ To Premiere in 2024; ‘Naughty Babe’ Will Be Releasing Trailer Tomorrow!

Finally, we got an update on your most-anticipated Mandee’s BL line-up.
On August 10th, Cutie Pie actor Zee Pruk revealed in an interview that the upcoming regal romance drama with NuNew Chawarin, ‘The Next Prince’, is scheduled to be released in 2024. Meanwhile, Zee and NuNew’s zombie-themed TV series, along with their fellow Domundi artists, ‘Zomvivor’, is planned to be released this year.

‘The Next Prince’ is one of the BL lineup of Mandee that was revealed on December 13, last year. The drama is a TV adaptation based on a novel of the same name. It follows the story of the crown prince and heir, Khanin of the Atsawathewathin, and his royal bodyguard Charan Phithakdheva, whose family has been the Atsawathewathin’s royal guard for decades. He lives far away from Emmaly and doesn’t care about seizing the throne. Meanwhile, Charan, as the royal guard, has the duty to bring Khanin back to the country.

The zombie-themed ‘Zomvivor’ will feature actors Zee Pruk, NuNew Chawarin, Max Kornthas, Nat Natasitt, Jimmy Karn, Tommy Sittichok, Tutor Koraphat, Yim Pharinyakorn, Poppy Ratchapong, Mark Sorntast, Net Siraphop, James Supamongkorn, Park Parnupat, Boun Noppanut (from Between Us), Boss Chakaimon (from Love in the Air), and so many more. The drama revolves around an unknown virus that spreads throughout the city, transforming the citizens into zombies. A group of survivors takes refuge in a school to defend themselves against the threatening force outside the campus. Despite there being no mention of BL romance, fans are predicting there will be unexpected romance blossoms as the mentioned actors are paired in some notable Thai BL series.

In addition, Max Kornthas and Nat Natasitt’s ‘Naughty Babe’, a sequel to ‘Cutie Pie’ focusing on Yi and Diao’s love story, announced the release of its official trailer on August 15th at 5 PM GMT+7 on Mandee Channel’s YouTube channel. The drama is rumored to be broadcast on local TV and will be available on the global streaming platform, iQIYI, next month.
