Tia51’s CEO Defends ‘1626’ and ‘Pisces Of Me’ Against Backlash

Following the backlash over “1626” and “Pisces Of Me”, a representative from Tia51 defends the drama over the issues raised by netizens.

“1626” and “Pisces Of Me” are two titles under Tia51’s biggest BL project, ‘My Universe The Series’ which will be aired for 6 months at the local station Amarin TV. The two series have been on Twitter’s trend and became a social issue about their inappropriate content including grooming, pedophilia, and incest.

In Tia51’s defense, CEO Akarawat Pichayatanawisarn addresses the issue and attaches the importance of children, morality, and society. He explains that the series is not about violence, immoral, and nudity as the company wants to showcase teenagers’ perspectives on love and the age gap. In addition to that, the director did a detailed checking of all the contents and ensured it is suitable for all genders and ages and did not affect morality. Lastly, he asks fans to open their minds to the series and watch it from the beginning until the end.

‘My Universe’ explores the twelve stories of eleven couples; each delves into friendships and relationships woven together by a cosmic web of love. It’s a beautiful blend of romance, drama, comedy, thrills, and fun, leaving viewers profoundly touched.

The series premieres on August 20th and will air every Sunday at 10:30 PM GMT+7 on local TV station, Amarin 34. The uncut version will be available on the streaming platform, iQIYI.
