Kakao webtoon ‘My Dear Gangster Oppa’ is reportedly having its live adaptation and is about to start filming!

‘My Dear Gangster Oppa or พี่นักเลงที่รัก’, a 45-chapter webtoon by KEN, Yeondam, and Antstudio, is confirmed will be having its live adaptation. It was originally published in Korean in 2019 and also translated into English with its English title ‘The Ideal Relationship’. It centers around the story of a young man who is secretly in love with his close friend but later meets an online game player who turns out to be a gangster in real life!

On the other hand, Meen Nichakhoon and Ping Krittanun from M Flow Entertainment’s ‘Ai Long Nhai The Series’ are reportedly joining the cast as their filming schedule has been announced on M Choice’s social media accounts starting on June 29th up to August 31st. Fans wonder if the duo will play the lead roles, however nothing is confirmed as of this writing.

SYNOPSIS: Lee Sang Hwa is a shy introvert with a longtime crush on his handsome friend Seo Ryeo Han, but then again, EVERYONE likes him. Feeling like he can’t compete for Ryeohan’s affections, Sanghwa dives into The Legend of Saga, an online game where he plays as “idealize.” He befriends “thegreatmirae,” a cute healer who clearly has a soft spot for Sangwha… and who just so happens to be a real-life gangster. Could this tough guy be the ideal lover Sanghwa’s been looking for after striking out in the real world?
