‘The Promise สัญญา I ไม่ลืม’ follows the friendship between Nanfah and Phupha who have been best friends since childhood. Since Phupha’s father passed away, and his mother moved to Australia, Phupha stayed in Thailand with his grandmother but went missing one day. Nanfah spent ten years trying to contact Phupha. But he left behind no explanation and ceased contact. Nanfah used to travel to Australia to search for his friend but was unsuccessful.
A decade later, Nanfah works at a marketing agency with his best friend Party, and Ken, their boss. He is a bachelor with a messy apartment and a cat named Oliang. One day, Phupha returns to Thailand and both happen to live in the same apartment building. Nanfah is shocked to reunite with Phupha, but he has many questions and demands an explanation. Phupha is evasive and refuses to answer. Nanfah focuses on rebuilding their friendship and regaining their familiar rapport. Phupha has recently opened a coffee shop and is passionate about the industry. Nanfah’s agency needs a civilian spokesperson, and Ken believes Phupha would be the perfect candidate. Nanfah is concerned about approaching Phupha, who is introverted and clams up in public. So, Nanfah must find a way to convince Phupha to join the ad campaign. And that’s how their blossoming romance rekindled which later led to a beautiful ending.
