Phuwin has proven his talent goes beyond just on-screen acting!
Best known for his roles in BL series such as Never Let Me Go and Fish Upon the Sky as well as other series like The Gifted: Graduation, Phuwin Tangsakyuen has established himself as a skilled actor, and even singer with his original song เพื่อเธอแค่หนึ่งเดียว (Living For You) from Never Let Me Go as well as covers of songs such as Ford Allan Asawasuebsakul’s อีกนิด (Come Closer). Most recently, he has expanded his range of talents into voice acting as the voice of Bua Niran Pruksamanee, or Lifeweaver, Overwatch 2’s latest support hero. The character speaks both English and Thai in-game and is the game’s first Thai character.
Being a support hero, Lifeweaver’s abilities focus on assisting the team rather than eliminating foes. For example, he can create a Petal Platform to move allies into desired positions or opponents into unfavorable ones and heal allies using his Healing Blossom. His ultimate ability is the Tree of Life, which gives healing to multiple teammates, as opposed to his Healing Blossom’s single-target nature.
To confirm questions I’ve seen elsewhere: yes, Lifeweaver is openly pansexual, and you’ll see that expressed through voice lines, conversations, and other content we can’t talk about yet. https://t.co/9VNpUJ7sXn
