TayNew’s ‘Cherry Magic’ is Now in Production!

You read it right—the most-awaited Thai adaptation of ‘Cherry Magic’ is now officially in production!

It has been a long time coming for the Thai adaptation of the Japanese manga and series ‘Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You A Wizard?!’. The Thai adaptation series, led by Tay Tawan and New Thitipom, released its pilot trailer 7 months after it was initially announced due to some copyright matters that needed to be settled.

After a month, the production has finally publicly informed Polcas, TayNew’s fandom name, that TayNew’s ‘Cherry Magic’ is now in production, which garnered anticipation and excitement from fans throughout the world! Prior to that, the cast also did a series of workshops. And it seems we are going to witness the magic between Achi and Karan this year!

‘Cherry Magic’ is the much-awaited comeback series of Tay Tawan and New Thitipoom after being paired in “Kiss The Series”, “Kiss Me Again”, and “Our Skyy”, and their last BL series, “Dark Blue Kiss”, which aired back in 2019. It is an adaptation based on Toyota Yuu’s manga series of the same name, which was first adapted into a TV drama that became a hit in Japan and internationally, starring Keita Machida and Eiji Akaso, in 2020, followed by its blockbuster movie sequel in 2022.
